Woonsocket Job Opportunity!

US Census Bureau is hiring, $16.50-$18/hr.

Although the 2020 Census is still a few years away, the Census Bureau is conducting an End-to-End Census Test in Providence County, RI in 2018 (see attached Fact Sheet about the Test, as well as a link to the website).  One of three test sites in the nation, Providence County was chosen due in part to its cultural and language diversity, and urban and rural settings to test field operations.

The Census Bureau has been recruiting throughout the county but has been experiencing difficulty attracting applicants from the city of Woonsocket.

Recruiting Sessions at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library, 303 Clinton Street:

9:30 am on Saturday, June 3, 2017

9:30 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017

1:30 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2017

These are temporary, part time jobs that pay $18 per hour ($16.50 while in training).

Let us know if you apply, and good luck!
