Purpose of Position
Rhode Island Regional Adult Learning’s Internship Program is designed to help individuals gain work experience and skills that will lead to sustained employment. This is a temporary, as-needed position. The position will likely be open September-October and again December-January; other times of the year could be included if needed.
Work closely with the Technology & Communications Manager, Office Clerk, and Program Manager to assist with data entry
Assist with entering student information from paper forms into online state and local database
Ensure accuracy when entering information
- Keep information confidential
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The Woonsocket Learning Center (191 Social Street, Woonsocket, RI) is the primary location for this position but other locations may be included in the opportunity as well.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
General knowledge and experience working with computers
Hands-on experience entering data into computer systems
Enjoy working with data and technology and strong desire to learn new platforms/programs
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Internships will be paid hourly based on qualifications and experience.
